Review: Treasure Seekers 3: Follow The Ghosts (iPad)

Review by Andrew M.

G5 Entertainment definitely knows its niche in developing games that have worked well for years as time-wasters on computers. Whether they are games for people that aren’t inclined to dedicate the time that an AAA game demands or that don’t really see the appeal of more adrenaline-filled games, they are entertaining because once you start playing, there is an innate need for you to finish the game, even if it is little more than a digital version of the I Spy games we played as kids. The point-and-click adventures and hidden object games are G5's wheelhouse and the Treasure Seekers series has been successful enough that we have a new sequel in Treasure Seekers 3: Follow The Ghosts.

Review: Silent Valley: Mystery Mansion HD (iPad)

Review by Max S.

Silent Valley: Mystery Mansion HD is a video game. A point-and-click adventure game, to be precise. And that's about all there is to say about it. It's a video game that I installed on my iPad and played for a few minutes and didn't dislike. Then I stopped playing it and forgot about it until I sat down to write this, at which point I decided I should play more so this review would be longer than a paragraph.

Review: Brightstone Mysteries: Paranormal Hotel HD (iPad)

Review by Andrew M.

The adventure game genre has had a real resurgence on the back of The Walking Dead game franchise. And with that comes more casual titles that play on the same genre appeal, but offer a significantly gentler experience. Enter Brightstone Mysteries: Paranormal Hotel. It doesn't come close to The Walking Dead, but it offers a decent and engaging narrative, and potentially becomes a "gateway drug" to the better examples of the genre for the kids.

Review: Supermarket Management HD 2 (iPad)

Review by Andrew M.

The time management sub-genre with casual games is so bulging with titles that when you get to Supermarket Management 2, you get the overwhelming feeling that you’ve been there before. Being a sequel, you have. Taking a lot of inspiration from Diner Dash and the other games of that ilk you just wish that it offered more because it has so much to give.
