#Step 1. Enter www.alexa.com, then click on create an account as shown below.

#Step 2. Here you have provided with two options to create an account. (1) You have to provide a valid email and username. (2) You can create an account using you facebook account. Once you've chosen the preferred method of registration, click on the Register button.

#Step 3. On this step you'll see a thank you page, which means that your account has been created. Now go to the email you provided during registration, and click on the confirmation link from alexa.

#Step 4. After clicking on the confirmation link sent to your email by alexa, you'll then be redirected to alexa page where you'll choose and setup your log in password. After you've chosen your password, click on submit password.

#Step 5. Now click on Dashboard link as pictured below.

#Step 6. Here you'll see some like: Do You Have A Website? Just click on Add site link to add your website/blog as sown below.

#Step 7. After you click Add It Now. You'll be prompted to select a plan of which you'll like to be served. Though for me i recommend the free plan.

#Step 8. You can now add your site to alexa by entering your website/blog address in the text field as shown below.

#Step 9. To verify your site's ownership you must add a verification code to your website/blog home page. To do this simply copy the verification ID code as pictured below.
Note: If you're using Blogger platform follow this steps to add the verification code to your HTML Template.
Go to Blogger Dashboard => Template => Edit HTML => Click anywhere inside the HTML editor and press Ctrl F; Now type <head> inside the search box and hit ENTER button, you'll see the <head> tag. Just below <head> tag paste the verification code you copied from alexa.
Note:- The code you copied must start from (meta content="alexaverifyID" and stop at "/" forward-slash) .

#Step 10. Now go back to your alexa account and click on the verify my ID button as shown above. That's all!
