West Bengal Biodiversity Board invites applications from the competent Indian nationals for the following posts against permanent vacancies. The last date of application is 27/01/2014

Research Officer:-

• Qualification:- A candidate shall be citizen of India as defined in part II of the Constitution of India; ) A Doctorate degree in Bio- science from a recognized University with minimum eight years working experience in the field of Biodiversity or Taxonomy or Genetics or other related subject . [Discipline of Bio- science s is specified a s Zoolog  and Botany.
• Age: The upper age limit shall not exceed 40 years on the 1st day of January, 2014.

Jr. Research Officer:-

• Qualification: A candidate shall be citizen of India as defined in part II of the Constitution of India A doctorate degree in Bio-science from a recognized University with experience in the field of Biodiversity or Taxonomy or Genetics or other related subject.
• Age: The upper age limit shall not exceed 35 years on the 1st day of January, 2014.

Accountant:

• Qualification: A candidate shall be citizen of India as defined in part II of the Constitution of India; A Master Degree in Commerce from a recognized University;
• Age: The upper age limit shall not exceed 35 years on the 1st day of January, 2014.

Stenographer:

• Qualification: Candidates shall be citizen of India as defined in Part II of the Constitution of India; Passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or council and having a speed of 40 and 80 w.p.m in typewriting and shorthand respectively; Proficiency in computer operation;
• Age: The upper age limit shall not exceed 35 years on the 1st day of January, 2014.

Office Assistant:

• Essential Qualification:- A Candidates shall be citizen of India as defined in Part II of the Constitution of India; A Bachelor degree from a recognized University with minimum two years working experience; Proficiency in computer application; Knowledge in Secretarial Practice.
• Age: The upper age limit shall not exceed 35 years on the 1st day of January, 2014.

Application Fee:- Appropriate application fee (Rs. 200/- for General candidates and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST / OBC candidates) should be paid by way of ‘Demand Draft’ only in favour of “West Bengal Biodiversity Board”, payable at “Kolkata”.
